New to the forum and my first post. 
I recently purchased a Firestick and installed Kodi. I have my media files (movies and TV shows) stored on a USB drive attached to a DD-WRT router and accessed by smb://LZDCD1/Movies/ and smb://LZDCD1/TV Shows/. The movies and TV shows are mainly stored as ISO files but there are some .mpg files. I have successfully set up the Movies in the library and can play them from the main Movies page. I am having trouble with the TV shows. I have read the wiki for the folder format and naming conventions for the TVDB. I was initially able to get a couple of TV shows to show up on the TV page and play them but when I updated the library they disappeared.

From the File Manager I can see all of the TV show files.
From the Media settings/Library/Videos/Movies I can see all of the movies.
From the Media settings/Library/Videos/TV shows all I see is ..  No files are listed.
Displaying TV Shows at the main screen, but not selecting it I can see the fanart for Poldark and Victoria but when I select TV shows the list is just ..

I turned the debug logging on and restarted Kodi
I went back to the Media settings/Library/Videos/TV shows and changed the content to none and back to TVDB and refreshed.

The TV shows remained empty.

Is there any other information that I need to add?

Any help with what I'm doing wrong would be much appreciated.

P.S. looking at the log it appears to have found "Dean Martin Celebrity Roast" and "Catholicism". It also indicates "no change for "Poldark", "The Six Wives of Henry VIII" and "Victoria" but they don't show up in the library.

Thanks nickr for the response. I moved "Cranford s02e01e02.iso" to it's own folder. All shows are now in their own folders. I refreshed the library and TV Shows is still empty.

I wish I could take a screen shot from the FireStick with the Firestick remote, it would be easier to show. The "Unwatched TV shows" the FanArt for Dean Martin, Henry VIII, Catholicism and Cranford but there are no shows when you select them.

You still have it set up wrong for some reason. The search is being conducted for Cranford S01E01E02. It is actually searching for the TV Show based on the episode name.

nickr and Karellen - Which log file were you looking at?

The first logfile listed in my first post,  http://ix.io/Q2p , I agree was wrong.

The second logfile  http://ix.io/Qce listed in my third post was done this morning and does have this:

I'm still confused as to why NONE of the TV shows show up on the TV Shows page. The log shows that SOME of the TV shows are being found in the TVDB but they appear not to be added to the library. I don't think that one bad file folder entry would cause all to fail to display. There must be something else that I am missing.

Simple, click on the link in your third post and see where it takes you...

I don't have the time to look at your log in detail right now but it does record that your shows are being scraped, along with artwork.

Is the TV Show menu item visible on the Main Menu as shown in the first image here... https://kodi.wiki/view/Basic_controls

If yes, then pull out the left sideblade menu, as detailed in section 7 of that same page, and ensure you have the setting All Videos instead of Watched or Unwatched.

That was it! The left sideblade menu was set to Unwatched instead of All Videos.
