You could rule out the settings.xml by replacing it with the original version and see if the problem remains or disappears.

For me this addon does not work.
I am using youtube app on ios and kodi is installed on a win 11 machine.
Pairing code seems to work but nothing happens, if i close youtube app on ios and open againg kodi does not show

I don't: I now just "share" Videos to Kodi (with YouTube Addon installed) via Kore (remote control app) and control everything via Kore.

in tubecast log, the python error `OSError: [Errno 19] No such device` caused by line `self.socket.setsockopt(socket.IPPROTO_IP, cmd, mreq)` for ssdp multicast ip addr `239.255.255.250` used in ssdp server (ssdp.py)
is because you don't have a route for multicast traffic

where wlan0 is the network interface name from ifconfig
