Hi all,
I thought I'd give this plugin thing a try, and for my first one I wanted to do http://tv.timbormans.com/. Unfortunately, I'm thinking it isn't going to be possible
The way it works is after you put in an artist's name, it does its magic and picks out a video from youtube to play. It's even nice enough to give the the youtube video's id in the url. Like this: http://tv.timbormans.com/artist/beck/#CEhT2QlRBMo where the bolded part is the youtube.com video ID.
The problem I'm having is getting python to see the new url to get the id. I think it uses a combo of flash/php/javascript to do it, and I just don't know how to make python "see" it, especially since python doesn't ever run any of the scripts/flash to make it necessary.
So is it impossible? Should I just give up? Or does someone have a place for me to learn how to do this?
