Network without wifi and apps?

Hi,

I have a very basic kodi question. I changed my pc from wifi to direct cable network connection because cable is more stable. But a side effect is that my iphone and android apps do not work anymore. They do not find kodi anymore. Is there a workaround?

I'm guessing your LAN is setup so that traffic on the wifi segment is not being bridged to the ether segment so your wifi-connected apps can't see the rest of your LAN.
