Recently built a new machine  and have Ubuntu 18.04 with Kodi 17.6 installed with a flirc and harmony 650.  I also use the flirc on Libreelec and windows with no issues but in Ubuntu when I select certain keys like play or pause I get a circle with a line through it. Any ideas?  Any help is greatly appreciated. I am new to Ubuntu but must use it instead of Libreelec because my Raven Ridge apu is not supported yet.

 I suppose it could be possible. I will have to investigate further.

I am dual booted with windows and the same remote keys work fine in windows. I also have another PC with libreelec on it and the remote keys work fine too. I have two flircs as well and get the same issue with both when using flirc in ubuntu 18.04

switched from Ubuntu to Kubuntu and this is now working.  Thank You
