Hello Everyone,

Can any one help me to create a login application or how we can create user name/password field and to display it at the beginning of the application. I am very new to kodi and still on learning stage of the customization. I am using kodi-krypton.

You can add a password to a profile, as far as I know.
Have a look at that.

Also, Kodi Krypton is no longer in development. We're all focusing on Kodi 18 Leia now.

Hi Klojum,

See I want a functionality when the system is firstly installed into the environment and the user access the application then the first page would be a login form where the user will enter their credentials. We will already set the user password using the code just need to allow the user to use that credentials access their media environment.

Thanks for letting me know about the latest development on kodi. I am using kodi- krypton17.6. Will update it after this functionality.
