How to set up www-streaming on Nvidia Shield/Kodi?
#1
I’m trying to figure out what would be the best way to use my Nvidia Shield (Android TV) to watch legally paid television from the Norwegian company GET TV.

While GET TV actually has an Android App:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...o.get.play
it is sadly not compatible with the Nvidia Shield, so I’m looking for other ways to get it to work.

They also have a web-steaming service at https://tv.get.no/ where I can log in and watch from the browser. But how should I set this up on my Nvidia Shield?

As I have Kodi on the Shield, is it perhaps possible to install a full browser in Kodi, which I can use to login to https://tv.get.no/ and play their content that way? Or is there some sort of Kodi-plugin that will be good for this use?

Or is it perhaps better to look for a stand-alone browser outside of Kodi, that works from the Shield home menu?

Looking for any advice =)

Whatever works for you. Right now as far as I can tell, a specific add-on will have to be created and developed for this website, and someone will have to do that. I can tell you that that someone will not be me. Smile

Look into UPNP DLNA either via Kodi or other apps. This a should enable you to cast the content to your Nvidia Shield from another smart device using a DLNA capable browser.

Otherwise just watch it using a browser from the android interface should probably be easier then getting a browser within Kodi.
