And now I’m running CoreELEC 8.95.4 with the built in pvr.mythtv 5.8.10.2 and the issue remains. The Daily Show works as expected (30 min show) and Black Lightening does not (60 min show).

I'm experiencing the regression mentioned earlier with missing seek buttons. Fast forward and rewind from the remote also don't work. Running Kodi Leia beta4 and MythTV PVR client 5.8.11 from the new binary repository on FireTV (android 32bit).

Just wanted to add my two cents here, as I'm experiencing similar behavior with missing ffwd/rew and skip on one recording, and two recordings showing wrong recording length during playback (shows correct length in recordings list).
I created an issue to janbar on github, but it may not be an issue with the mythtv addon.

I'm running CoreELEC 8.95.4 on Odroid_C2  - janbar indicates that the problem could be specific to our platform.
Those of you experiencing this, are you running same platform?

I am running Odroid C2 as well. Someone else has a similar issue and is using android/firestick and I think the firestick is also ARM. Perhaps this is an ARM issue?

 Good news - janbar claims to have fixed the regression in 5.8.14.
However I cannot test until an updated build for CoreELEC exists in their repo, or I get the time to set up a build env on my own.
@zaphod24 maybe you can build a test version for us?

I tested and it works correctly for me now on longer recordings, so hooray, the issue appears fixed!
