How do I get Kodi to use embedded art not folder/art of first track in folder.
I have folders with custom albums like Top 40 2018 and each track has it's own art but kodi displays the first tracks art for all tracks.

Any code I can edit?

Hang on it does seem to use embedded, it's just yatse remote shows all tracks with the first tracks art but when it plays each file it shows the embedded art.

This thread describes what v17 is doing with art, and what v18 does differently.

In the absense of a folder image Kodi will take the art embedded in the 1st track as the album art and provide that via JSON as the album art. It would not surprize me if remote apps (often running on old mobile phones) choose to only fetch and show album art rather than store different images for each song
