I would love to see the feature "Audio Offset" in Audio system settings.
Since I use a modern TV with lots of features like picture scaling, interpolation, frame rate doubling etc, the picture lags behind the sound due to the processing delay of the picture when I tap the sound directly from Media Box with Kodi. I use mainly the Optical Output, but the same goes for any other source that is not fed via the TV sound processing.
Today, Audio Offset can only be adjusted to the movie that's being played.
I would love to have it set in the system menu and be unique on every Sound Output source I can choose: HDMI, Optical, Analog etc.
If Optical is selected, then it could have a sound delay of 100 ms. If HDMi is selected, 0 ms etc.
Today I use a Lip Sync box between the Media Center and the Amplifier.
But it costs money and this feature would be really nice to have built in Kodi.
What do the rest of you folks think of this?
