Excellent,
Just tested it a few minutes ago, works a treat, thank you very much.

SkItZo Wrote:Here is the setup that I use. I have the older 3.6 version of Eventghost (with the plugin that sends sleep/hibernate events, however im unsure how well it works as i have only been using it for the last few days)
Here's EventGhost:

The following configuration uses enduring events for buttons and uses the remote key as the event name (So the battery level changing wont effect the use of the remote) and i have set up repeat events for the directional buttons (So that you can hold the directional pad down to scroll through items)
I have set the Playstation button to run XBMC by using a CTRL+ALT+X shortcut (You will have to configure this in your xbmc shortcut properties)
Here's the XML

phvrc2nt Wrote:thanks for the update.
the xml file dont work with the recent build of eventghost though.
plus i prefer direct commands rather than keyboard emulation thus even without the keyboard.xml file of xbmc, remote will still work flawlessly.
i have a question though.
how do you set repeating events if i keep the button pressed?
i dont mind the shorter battery life since i use rechargeable batteries for that matter.
thanks...
SkItZo Wrote:Yeah, thats why i posted the older version of EventGhost
To set repeating events for the button being pressed, click on add action then open the EventGhost tree and select autorepeat current macro
