Hi,

i'm trying to build an addon/script that suits my needs for automating hyperion.
is there an easy way my script can get notified when the tv powers off?

asked differently: i want to monitor the status off the TV being either on or off.
how would i do that?

seems like i can not edit my post...

i know there's 'cec-client' and 'tvservice' but i'm not sure whether their work since i monitored their respone when i set the tv to standby.
both showed no output until i turned it back on again.
i thought maybe theres allready something similar build into kodi so i don't have to call system commands all the time.
