hi,
i bought a new intel gemini lake pc (windows 10). to get best possible picture quality the following settings have been made:
1. graphics driver / display settings: full rgb output
2. graphics driver / video settings: let application decide
3. kodi: limited color range
4. tv: limited
that way all is working perfectly fine with kodi.
the problem appears if i want to watch videos with another video application that has no possibility to set video output to limited (e.g. web browser chrome, edge). for this case there is a possibility within graphic drivers video section to force limited video for all video applications (point 2.). that way it worked with my old amd/ati-system but not with the new intel system. none of the settings i set within graphics drivers video section (brightnes, sharpnes, input range....) have any influence to the video. i think this is not normal.
can someone help me? is there perhaps a registry hack to force limited input range for video?
