I recently bought this stick hopeful to be able to reduce the number of multimedia devices ....

everything is fine except playing h264 video where enabling hardware decoding (mandatory, if not the video snaps) a kind of really excessive contrast mask is applied.
The result is similar to what I get by setting the HIGH profile on my DVDO Mini scaler and my old WDTVLive as a player

In your opinion is there any way to modify some parameters to reduce this aggressive sharpen mask on hardware decoder? On Kodi you can only turn it on or off, so no changes of up

Try to turn off only Mediacodec-Surface and just keep Mediacodec. Same issue?
