After the upgrade to Kodi 18, my MCE remote loses a lot of functionality (e.g. Back doesnt work; Skip forward and backward doesnt work; a separate control window opens up)

Any ideas on how the correct functionality can be restored?

Problem resolved. I removed the Windows Store app and installed the 64-bit EXE.
