Yesterday i try to install, no update, my old version of kodi.
All ok new icon Kodi 18.0 , but when i try to start disaster.
Impossible to configure regular resolution.
OK no problem in future we have other update and by windows market its all ok.


Today i can't
uninstall Kodi 18.0 but in windows market ther is another version that i install and all is ok (Is Leila version).
But now in start menu i have this situation, i can resolve i wanna eliminate kodi 18.0 but it's impossible? Thanks

I have the same problem.

I've already tried uninstalling the "Kodi" Windows Store app, it doesn't make "Kodi 18.0" disappear from the Start Menu. After uninstalling Kodi, there's no Kodi or XMBC entry in Apps and Features, and there's no XMBC folder in %LOCALAPPDATA% folder.

I've googled about deleting Windows App icons of missing Windows Apps from Start menu, but nothing has worked. Kodi 18.0 only exists in the Start Menu (afaik).

I hope you guys have other ideas to try. Thanks in advance

And by the way, since UWP doesn't allow navigating outside the local folder and SMB is not supported, I actually question the value that the package is bringing in the first place as opposed to just installing the application the usual way. Installing the app turned out to be quite a mistake from the beginning to the end to be honest.
