The code above worked fine in v17, the lsep item would be invisible until 'experimental' button was clicked, then the lsep would show up, now its visible all the time no matter what is selected with 'experimental'
Wiki say it should work, but it doesn't.

yup, it's a bug.
there are a few known issues with the addon settings system in v18 and this is one of them.
