Another day another problem.. This one has me stumped.. I am using a NUC 7i3BNK with windows 10.. And all is working in windows,driver reports correct codecs supported,testing for 7.1 is fine,however,it wont play test sounds for 24bit 96khz,highest quality test it passes is 24bit 48khz,but in kodi,i only get dolby digital/dts/pcm depending on what i chose for output..
I have tried both direct sound and wasapi marantz7704/wasapi default for my marantz 7704 on both audio and passthrough. Everything works fine,i get bluray intro and menu sounds,but as soon as a video with hd audio plays,i get no sound at all. Windows is updated,as are all drivers related to intel as far as i can tell.
All boxes are ticked in kodi passthrough support for all audio codecs.
I have updated,removed,re-installed all drivers related to this,i have tried all solutions i could find on google,nothing has worked..
Even re-installed windows and a clean kodi,still not working. HDMI cable works fine,i used it in my Dune D1 and it outputs hd audio just fine.
Anyone have an idea what is going on?
