The Odroid N2 is a very good solution IMO. The multichannel LPCM issues have been resolved so there are no big quirks there. Heavy skins like Titan are very snappy, just like on the Chromebox.

The N2 is a "MrChromebox approved" solution for sure. I'm running the nightly builds on mine and haven't had any real issues.

I'll continue to support the Chromeboxes as it's minimal effort to do so at this point, but for 4K/HDR/HEVC, they just don't make sense given the cost and limitations. Paypal donate link on my website should still be there Smile

The Chromeboxes had a good run. That was a great solution for a long time, and thank you Matt for that.

Matt, did you just order directly from Hardkernal?

https://www.hardkernel.com/shop/odroid-n...c-edition/

Or did you order from a US dealer?

https://ameridroid.com/products/odroid-n...4239447074

What did you have to buy separately to get this system together? I'd like to get a regular small keyboard and mouse just like I had with the Chromebox. How did you handle that? I don't like the single controllers that have very small keyboards. My fingers are to big for those things 99% of the time.

I forgot to ask. Should I change form LibreELEC to CoreELEC? Is there any real difference?

I'd suggest you should switch to CoreElec for AMLogic platforms like the N2.

LibreElec is better IMO for Intel, Raspberry Pi and RockChip.

Ameridroid. Ordered the N2, case, 16GB eMMC, USB BT module (paired with Harmony remote), and power adapter. Running CoreELEC nightly build. I don't use a keyboard but you can connect just about anything via USB and it should work just fine
