Greetings Kodi experts!

Got a new Xiaomi DLP Projector (Youth Edition MJJGTYDS02FM). I managed to install Kodi on it but the latest version does not start. The most recent version I can use is 17.4.
Android is 6.1 but it should work anyway, right?

Generally yes. But noone knows what they did on this PJ with Android that it won't. Please consider asking Xiaomi for further support if they patched Android in any way (and I'm somewhat sure, they did).
