3. Check, did it REALLY actually import your XML Guide? At all? Yeah, I’ve been ASSURED that it does, yet not a single version has successfully maintained an import yet, and the CURRENT version not only won’t import your guide info, it will actually DELETE the file/url information you entered in settings and overwrite it like you didn’t even try to import.

There’s no question here, it’s a black and white thing that, according to the dev this is “already working”, I think everyone should try it for themselves and see exactly how “working” it is for themselves (as everytime I’ve searched for the issue it’s ignored and or said to be working)

Source: three different installs on three different machines. Enter m3u/xml and watch it fail to import (or even save the file/url at all) with no success.

PS: If anyone needs a workaround feel free to let me know, it’s tedious but will actually get it working, currently writing an automated script to prevent PseudoTV from overwriting settings on it AND SimpleClient and then using a parser to combine the PseudoTV user channels/Autotune channels (the only things that actually work in this scenario) with your actual URL based TV Guide. Am currently trying to incorporate it into a custom “fork” of this thing to release since the issue is never addressed, but the parser script will need to be rewritten into Python instead of running as an external batch program triggered by Kodi’s AEL.

PPS: If anyone has any issues with that, please cite the CONCRETE black and white issue that is untrue and I’ll be happy to provide video evidence of my statements and direct you to a YouTube playlist showing the... progress.

I really don't understand your hostility... If you are having an issue supply a log.

Importing M3U/XMLTV should be working... Any bugs encountered requires a detail description of the problem and a log.

Perhaps someone else could do better to explain how to setup imports?
