Here is how to recreate the error:

1. install Fresh kodi Matrix (in my case in one SSD AND in portable mode).
2. install plugin.video.youtube.
3. install plugin.youtube2kodilibrary (set API key). Then add one YOUTUBEchannel as TVShow (lets say PseudoTV Live Channel with url:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcKfSNBlSTsfT-WgPmCVyXQ ).
4. Add the [...portable_data\userdata\library\series] folder as a TVShow-folder in kodi´s library.
5. Install PseudoTV Live Beta from the PseudoTV Live repository. (Set 1 channel and include STRMs files).
6. Get error with this log: sikugodowo.kodi (paste)

I am not a programmer but hope this helps you to figure out the problem.

You are right. Maybe some other user could recreate this problem and bring some more details (about he duration of the videos i guess)

It's just that I am extremely surprised at how little used these STRM files are.

As far as I'm aware strms work fine... and your logs show the content was added to your channel.

Strms are a dated method for content delivery... Don't see why anyone needs them.

Hey Luna, long time no see.

Wanted to see how your PTVL is doing, but can't seem to get it installed.  I thought I followed the instructions correctly, but I'm getting an error on it needing inputstream-rtmp version 0.0.0.0 .  So, I know I missed something stupid.

Distro: Kubuntu 21.04
Kodi version: 20.0-ALPHA1 (19.90.101) from the Kodi nightly PPA

Fresh install to empty ~/.kodi , downloaded your repo 1.1.0 and then installed the PTV repo through that (aka Method #1), then proceeded to install the script only to get this inputstream-rtmp error.  So, checking my system, I don't have kodi-inputstream-rtmp installed, but it isn't installable:
Quote:fog@sorrento:~$ sudo apt install kodi-inputstream-rtmp
[sudo] password for fog:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
kodi-inputstream-rtmp : Depends: kodi-api-inputstream (>= 3.0.1)
                        Depends: kodi-api-inputstream (< 3.1.0)
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

So, it doesn't seem installable from the nightly repo.

This is an inherited error from a dependency not installing; not really a PseudoTV Live issue... The mirror you're trying to use is probably down. Try again to install or install rtmp input stream manually.

Posted my log in hastebin but thought a screenshot may help. My current issue is that the application seems to hault loading playlists as channels at 68% every time. The playlist varies but seems to freeze there. I have about 21 playlists being used (Action, Sci-Fi, Kids TV, etc) for channels with about 300 movies total.  If I use 10 playlists things seem fine but over that I start seeing this freeze.

68 percent Issue

Sorry about that, thanks for the info on pasting the link.

Issue still seems to be happening with the new version. Only it flickers between the message I saw before on freezing at 68% and an "Initilizing" message. Still hangs though there.

fixed in v.0.2.9a, BTW your log was missing debug level events; next time pls remember to enable debugging in Kodi.

With debugging enabled the entire log seems to be too much for hastebin to save. Copied a portion. If you need a different section just let me know and I can paste. Issue still seems to be occurring though.

I finally made the jump from .0.2.08f having running totally stable for months, but the recent updates with next up messages and live logos or whatever seems to have now introduced stuttering for me during normal playback of media on my windows box.  Its weird, media plays normally for a minute or so, then theres a brief stutter every 4-5 seconds.  But what's super weird is that the media plays fine in PTVL.

Uninstalling PTVL fixed it, so going to try a clean install tonight and if it reappears I will grab logs
