my naming scheme is sth like this "See/See s01/See s01e01 episodeTitle"
the application downloads the season poster to "see/season 1/folder.jpg
I don't want to use this "season 1"
i want to use my format "See s01"

please post your renamer settings; the actual implementation of the seasonxx/folder.jpg file naming already does respect the renamer settings to get the season folder name (there's no other way to get the _real_ season folder name)

in v3.1 tmm should be able to detect the season folder by analyzing and comparing the episode files
