Is the data in the rds audio stream displayed when delivered via http which NextPVR for Live TV or in captured ts files via http or the file system? 

Also here in Canada these streams are not available but users have provided some samples.  Is there a way from ffprobe or other utilities to tell if the files can rds information?

As far as I know this only works for add-ons implementing own demuxer.

Ok thanks that would explain why I can't see anything in the samples that were provided.
