v18 How to share usb drive to see files on Kodi

I have usb drive on Windows, but i want to watch files on Android.
Can i somehow share my whole usb and how?

I do this often, Adding video sources (wiki) File sharing (wiki)  SMB/Windows (wiki) and some forum links.

1) Just plug the USB drive into the Android box, and select the path in add videos field.

2) Plug the USB into a capable router with USB, and select the path in add videos field of Kodi running on the Android device.

3) Created a windows network that includes your drives, and select in the Kodi Android box the path in add videos field.

There's also three pages of tips & tricks which might include a walk-through.

No,  i only can put usb to pc. From pc i must share this.

Sharing a USB drive in Windows should not be any different from sharing a harddrive in your PC.

Although that guide uses folders as examples, you can do exactly the same thing with an entire drive, by right clicking on it in Windows Explorer.  P.S.  Search engines are useful tools when you don't know how to do something Wink
