YouTube Plug-in Thread
Hi folks,
every now and then I stumble across the following problem:
When I chosse My Channel (Mein Kanal) and try to play any of my videos, they just don't play. I mean all of them.
I tried to switch the API key numbers but with no avail.

The weird thing is that any other videos but mine play just fine, but mine don't play, not even if I try to play them from the normal search results.

Anyone who can help?
I forgot to mention that I am correctly logged on, means verified via TV/website authentication. I also did this several times repeadedly, to make sure it isn't that.

Probalby a stupid question, but does the github repository URL still work?  It uses this URL:

        <datadir zip="true">https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jdf76/repository/master/testing/unofficial/zips</datadir>

But it returns 404...

All of 'My Channel' videos work here, will need a complete debug log (wiki) to hopefully see what is going on.

It should be still working, nothing has changed there. But to browse that repository, use; https://github.com/jdf76/repository/tree...cial/zips/

@anxdpanic Thank you for the quick reply. I will try out beta1 of the plugin when I get back home. I do have a question though. If I move over to beta1, will I have to manually update the plugin when a new version is released? Thanks!

You'll want beta2, as there were a couple of fixups done from beta1. Once it's available, you should get the update to 6.5.1 from the official repository automatically.

Thanks guys for your answers.
I have to mention that for me the issue got solved for the moment, by uninstalling the add-on and then installing it again.
If the problem reoccurs I will let you know.
Hey,

I've checked the first & last few pages, but can't see what I'm looking for, so apologies for the n00bish question.

I've had to reset my Kodi install, as a powercut had corrupted it, & my backups won't restore properly.

I only use Kodi for youtube, but as I've had to reset, I've lost my watched history.

Can anyone tell me which file(s) I can cherrypick from my backups to get my watched history back?

Thanks

Thanks i was trying to do it wrong.  I downloaded and installed the repo zip and then installed the beta2 from the repo.  Now the slider works.  Thanks again!
Hi there!

Is someone also having problems whit using de YouTube Ad-don via MPEG-DASH?
From one day to another i'm not able to skip anymore to a particular moment/time in a video.
When i bring up the info part, the info of what the time will be that the video ends is suddenly gone?
I made a screenshot of it and try to share that with you via Google-Drive, i hope that works  Wink

This is it:

Okay ... I will do that.
@anxdpanic

I moved to the beta2 and that fixed the issue. Thank you for the response and the information. I truly do appreciate it.

Greetings. I installed the latest beta 6.5.1 beta 2 and it solved all problems but created a new one. On Kodi I could have TV Shows hide watched checked, and Youtube hide as watch unchecked. Now they appear to be one. If I check hide watched in TV Shows, it also checks hide watched in Youtube. Is there a way to separate these again?
