Many thanks for all your efforts in maintaining this addon.

Channel A-Z; BBC One; Absolutely Fabulous; Series 2; you get returned to the same menu. Selecting an individual episode works ok. So the bug is similar to the one that prevented progress past the first menu previously. Many thanks for all your efforts in maintaining this addon.
Please ignore comment regarding the bug - its all working correctly. User error!

Pleased to confirm everything seems to work correctly for me with both Dash and HLS streams on a test RPi3 running LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-9.80-nightly-20201202 (19.0b1-Matrix) using the following:

- iPlayerWWW 3.0.49~alpha4
- addon.xml needs edited to: <import addon="xbmc.python" version="3.0.0"/>
- In the two files ipwww_video.py and ipwww_common.py, "inputstreamaddon" needs to be replaced by "inputstream" for Dash streams to work.

Also to say it tests o.k. with the unmentionable three lettered thing that starts with "V" and ends in "N" Wink

Thanks to all for keeping this addon going.

I've been listening to radio more recently, driven by the quality of the TV schedules!. I listen with settings Any, UK and 320 because my CoreElec box is connected to an amp via a reasonable quality usb dac.

Trouble is, these streams play for a few minutes and then stop. My logs don't show anything I can relate to the problem. I've tried cache settings and signing in with BBC ID and neither of these have any impact.

I've lowered quality to 128 and all seems well but not quite as good.

I'm thinking that it's the BBC stream that's stopping. Anyone else having the same issue?

I am just trying LibreElec Matrix beta. I'm managed to find matrix repos for all the main things I use and have things working apart from iPlayer. Is there a current working version of this that might run with Matrix?

Thanks.

What worked for me...
Download this development version: https://github.com/vonH/plugin.video.ipl...3.0.49.zip
Unzip it and edit three files as follows:
addon.xml needs edited to: <import addon="xbmc.python" version="3.0.0"/>
In the two files ipwww_video.py and ipwww_common.py, "inputstreamaddon" needs to be replaced by "inputstream" for Dash streams to work.

Zip it back up, copy the zipfile to your Libreelec device and install using Libreelec's "install addon from zip" routine.

Also, make sure to install the inputstream.adaptive-2.6.6.2 (or above) addon from the Libereelec Matrix addons.

Subtitles not found in latest 64 bit 18.x Kodi + 3.0.49 plugin
Whenever I enter the subtitles OSD menu subtitles are shown as "none".
Manual adding/downloading an external source like opensubtitles.org works.

Browsing subtitles and selecting the appropriate show lead to an entry for an external source but of unknown language.
I tried manual selection of CDI too.
Any ideas what leads to such behaviour?

The log looks like subtitles are found. I cannot see an error message related to subtitles.

Just to be sure: For subtitles to work in the add-on, you need to enable them in the add-on settings, NOT in the regular Kodi settings. Did you do that?

Hi,

I cannot play radio stations.

I have a clean install of kodi-inputstream-adaptive 2.4.4-1~buster and iplayer www 3.0.49.

OS is Raspbian 10 on RPI 4 B.

When i try to play for example Radio 1 nothing happens. And in the log I can see

2021-01-23 14:03:53.318 T:2391789776 DEBUG: ffmpeg[8E8FD0D0]: [http] HTTP error 403 Forbidden

2021-01-23 14:03:53.318 T:2391789776 ERROR: OpenDemuxStream - Error creating demuxer

But thats strange because when I run wget on this URL then I get 200 OK.

wget  http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/man...o_one.m3u8

Could you please help me with this ?

I’ve recently been getting Cookie Load Failed error appear whenever I start kodi or reload the skin. I’m on kodi 18.9 and using 3.0.49 version of the add on

Somebody seems to think that you are not in the UK. The interesting part of the log is this:

Code:
2021-01-23 14:03:53.103 T:2391789776 INFO: ffmpeg[8E8FD0D0]: [hls,applehttp] Opening 'http://as-hls-uk-live.akamaized.net/pool_904/live/uk/bbc_radio_one/bbc_radio_one.isml/bbc_radio_one-audio%3d320000.norewind.m3u8' for reading
2021-01-23 14:03:53.318 T:2391789776 DEBUG: ffmpeg[8E8FD0D0]: [http] HTTP error 403 Forbidden 2021-01-23 14:03:53.318 T:2391789776 DEBUG: Error, could not open file (2) http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/manifesto/audio/simulcast/hls/uk/sbr_high/ak/bbc_radio_one.m3u8
2021-01-23 14:03:53.318 T:2391789776 ERROR: OpenDemuxStream - Error creating demuxer

The 403 error does not originate in the a.files.bbci.co.uk call, but in the as-hls-uk-live.akamized.net call. Internally, the add-on opens the first (bbbci), parses the actual stream inside and attempts to open it. That is the URL on the Akamai CDN. The first appears not to be geoblocked, the latter is.

Sounds more like an issue with the add-on installation or an SD card. Cookie load failed should only be raised when the cookie storage file is corrupted. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the add-on. Also, if you are using a Raspi or the likes, check your SD card for damage.

I’m using a 2019 Shield Pro, kodi is on the internal drive. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the add on a few times, I’ve also tried uninstalling kodi and starting again. I still get the error pop up. I’m getting the add on from the kodi repo
