Hi, I have a problem with auto-switching. Two profiles are set.
1. TV (HDMI)
2. 5.1 (Sound card in PC)

Profile set 1. TV as default at startup. The problem is as follows.

I turn on the PC => Start Kodi => AudioProfiles sets the profile 1. TV correctly, it even displays a change message = >> the sound does not come, there is no sound from the TV or other output ... then I go => Settings => System => One press down to Sound => Sound will start working without a problem without changing the sound output, just view the sound settings.

I tried to update all sound drivers, graphics card drivers, sound cards, install old drivers, official drivers from the manufacturer's website, download drivers using device manager, update Win, replace HDMI cable, reinstall Kodi, tested to version 17.6 - 18.9 - 19.0 BETA everywhere the same. Unfortunately, I did not find a solution anywhere, I started using AudioProfiles two weeks ago.

That's gonna be a tough one to troubleshoot.  TVs often all handle HDMI sound slightly differently, so it's possible that the TV isn't activating the HDMI sound until something is generated (or Windows isn't generating any HDMI sound connection until there is sound), and it's possible opening the sound options does that.  There is an expert option in Kodi to keep sound devices active (by sending an inaudible tone constantly to the device). That might help.  I'm not sure if AP saves that setting in the profile, so if you do add it, you might want to update your AP profiles too.  I'd also see if you can duplicate the problem using some other Windows program (i.e. set the sound to the PC card, do something, then change it to HDMI and see what happens).

The problem will not be on TV. The error also occurs with other outputs. Sometimes AudioProfiles sets the wrong output, at startup it sets the output that was not defined in AudioProfiles at all.
Example: Two profiles are set
1. TV (HDMI)
2. 5.1 (AnalogOutput)
Profile 1. should be set by force at start.
=> At startup, an undefined output such as DigitalOutput or another enabled in Win10 is set.

I would say that the AudioProfiles add-on has incorrectly labeled / named outputs, it has incorrect output IDs.

I tried sending an inaudible code to the TV. That was my first idea. Unfortunately without success.

I would like to add that this problem only occurs when starting Win10 and Kodi.
Power On PC => AutoStart Kodi => Problem with sound

But when the PC is on, I do not register this problem
PC On => Quit Kodi => Restart Kodi => Start Kodi => Sound works, AudioProfiles too
