Follow the instructions at the top of that thread to install a 4.9 kernel build. After everything is updated, then do the
Code:
sudo apt-get install --reinstall vero3-mediacenter-osmc=18.6.0-13
After that, don't do any more updates until we get a new 4.9 build.
EDIT (December, 2020): the latest 4.9 build is now 3D-enabled again, so it is no longer necessary to revert to an earlier mediacenter build. Installing the 4.9 software is all that's needed, and you can leave auto updates on.
