Hi everyone,
I have a large collection of wav files with embedded cover art on a USB drive. Because this drive is only occasionally connected to kodi, the files have not been (and will not be) scanned into the music library, so I play them in file mode.
The issue I have is that kodi only displays the cover art for some of the files. When I play these same files on my car's entertainment center, the cover art is displayed 100% of the time.
The embedded jpg images vary greatly. In fact, I never payed too much attention to any specific image parameters. Some images are perfectly square, some are not (but close). Some have higher resolution than others, so the sizes also vary widely. A lot of these covers come from sites like discogs.com, but not all.
I'm looking for specific guidelines that would work with kodi in file mode, or for tips on how to troubleshoot the issue. I will provide more detail if required.
Thanks.
