Linux Way to share Kodi server via bluetooth to Android phone?
#1
Hello there!

Currently living in the dorms so I sadly cannot have a wifi connection, my plan was to connect my phone via bluetooth to my Linux box and watch movies on my phone in bed, but having issues finding documentation on this (mainly being bombarded with content about people using their phones as remotes)

Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

Even if possible, Bluetooth would be too slow for a decent video stream.
Connecting your phone to the Linux via a USB cable should be possible.

What's the reason for no WiFi? Is it cos of it not being provided in the dorm by the organisation in question or some other reason?

Thank you for your response! Do you have a guide on how I would accomplish this?

Indeed, dorm does not allow for their inhabitants to create their own wifi.
