On 8k video files I only have the sound and not the image whereas on vlc with these same files I have the sound and the image, how to solve the problem?

Are there any particular settings ?

And which type of hardware are you using to play your 8K videos on?
Also, what are the MediaInfo details of your video?

BTW, 8K is not impossible with Kodi...
