Change source path of one or more libraries.
#1
Hello,

Is there a way to change the path for the sources like TV Shows, Movies or Music, without having to rebuild the entire library?

Currently, I have one disk for all of them, but I am running out of space. I want to add a disk and move one of the above sources to it.

Can I do that without having to rebuild the library?

TIA,

Bart

There is, one option is to directly hack into the SQL database and run a couple of SQL queries to change the video source paths. If your SQL knowledge is up for it.

You can also try this tool. It has a couple of additional features besides cleaning: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=272112

Thanks. My SQL knowledge is close to zero, so I rather not try that path.

The forum thread you refer to is rather long, so I will take some time to read it.

I have read the thread and I have installed and tried version 0.6.1 on my test system.
Looks very good!

I found the setting about changing source path specifications. Funny that I did not find any mention of it ith the thread.

I am now testing it on my test system.

Thanks a lot!

Hmm... I did not succeed in replacing the source specification.

I will follow up in the thread about this add-on.
