Linux openelc not updating to 18-9

Hi all after a flawlees update to 18-9 on my win 10 pc i cant seem to get my instalattion on openelec to update to 18-9
Anyone knows what i am doing wrong here?

Yes. OpenELEC is an abandoned fork that has not been maintained in over 3 years.

Make that 6 years. You can try crossover to LibreELEC as its successor.

LibreELEC 9.2.6 with Kodi 18.9 is just around the corner, it's being internally tested at the moment.
