Is there already a maybe and if not, can you make a settings export tool, e.g. save the settings to a file and load the settings from a file?
tMM is becoming more and more powerful and in case of failure such a tool would help a lot.

all settings are in the tmm folder /data, so you are fine by just backing that up (internal databases are also in that folder)
every day tmm makes a backup of this folder too - which is in th tmm folder /backup

so there is probably no need for such a feature
