Kore : 2.5.1 from Play Store

When sorting the TV Shows list in Kore the order seems rather random.
Watched the first two episodes of a new serie but when sorting using "by last played" the serie is listed somewhere in the middle instead of at the top.

Found the same problem mentioned back in 2017:

But no comments there. Anyone familiar with this bug?
Is it a user error that I can somehow fix myself or is it a bug in Kore?

I've seen the same issue.  It's almost as if the "last played" sort is backwards with the actual last played episode at the bottom of the list with a bit of randomization thrown in for good measure.

I e-mailed koresupport@kodi.tv to ask for a feature to reverse the sort order or to fix this issue but the automated response had a link to the forum.  Not sure who the actual developers are.
