hello all
I have 3 working instances running kodi all running 19.3 on windows 10 and one (testing) on debian 11. Alla are working fine and all are accessing the media on a NAS. Aall on the same network.
On the Debian laptop i have installed the latest Home assistant It is running OK (I'm still learning)
One of my objectives is to have Kodi controlled by home assistant (and eventually by either alexa or almond.
In Kodi the settings for remote connections and allow control are set and so is zeroconf are set on
yet when I go to home assistant and try to configure the addon with the http://192.168.1.177 with port 8080 or the HTCP with http://192.168.1.9 with port 8080 i get a failled to connect error message.
What have i not configured in kodi to allow this access?
