Platform: MacBook Air
Version of Kodi: 19.3  (20211024-49a04cd6a7)

Detailed Instructions to Reproduce the Problem:

Exiting the program either by clicking on the red circle icon or using the menu Kodi | Quit Kodi



FULL Debug Log:
xbmc.log: /Users/<username>/Library/Logs/kodi.log:  No Kodi logs in the logs directory

Skin name Estuary
Architecture x86_64

No matter how I exit Kodi I get this message displayed.  Usually it is displayed when a crash occurs but it is displayed every time I quit Kodi.

Could not find the logs.

Same here since the last two or three versions.
Sometimes Kodi does not switch of at all and i have to force quit from OSX when trying to shutdown.

same for me. Impossible to install kodi 19.2 and 19.3 on macosx Monterey.
Kodi reboots all the time and gives communication server error.
Kodi 19.1 works perfectly so something must be different in 19.2

I was having the same problem: Kodi 19.3 simply would simply not work on MacOS 11.6 (Big Sur) nor even install correctly.

I was able to install it by deleting  /Users/<user_name>/Library/Application Support/Kodi and doing a fresh install.
So, a bit of work to do needing to re-install addons again but Kodi 19.3 is running for me now and addons all working properly.
