I set up a RPI4B 4GB with libreelec and a 1080P telly a few weeks ago.
Does HDMI cec work -yes
Is it fast enough - yes
I had to do a litle tweaking to get playback and overscan right
The only thing that remains is folderart caching -it's slow on the Pi compared to an Appletv 4K
