I’ve got my Music Videos in my Kodi Music (Audio) database by using tagged .mp4 files or cue files and adding the music video root folder as a Music Source (not a Music Video source).

Kodi then uses all the music video tags as ‘music’ features. With new menu nodes I can filter my music (both Audio only and music videos by ‘music’ and ‘music videos’, the default is I can see both ‘albums’ and ‘concerts’ or ‘music video’ under each artist.

This works with any skin and everything is in the Kodi music library. I don’t use Kodi ‘Music Video’ library.
