I just installed Linux Mint 20.3 with Kodi 19. I have managed, with help from others here, to get audio passthrough working to my Denon AVR. My previous installation was Win7 and Kodi Krypton, using MPC-HC as an external player with MadVR video renderer, which provided for HDR passthrough to my LG 4K OLED. 

So, is there a way to pass HDR info similarly, either out of Kodi or through an external player? I am using Nvidia graphics.

I am pretty much a Linux noob, so please be gentle with any suggestions.

Kodi on Linux can only do HDR to SDR tomemapping, Kodi on Linux can't do HDR passthrough currently.
