On low/medium powered devices ie. Arm and low end Celeron processors. The context menu opening animation fails to run for Movies inside the library.
TV Shows and Movie Sets work perfectly fine, the context menu opening animation runs perfectly fine, but for Movies the opening animation never happens or misses the first few 100ms of frames.
See the following video samples for a clear example of the problem:
TV Shows:- https://streamable.com/4nhzy9
Movie Sets:- https://streamable.com/oqkdsw
Movies:- https://streamable.com/4d394l
Notice in the Movies video the context opening animation never happens. It seems like Kodi access the movie in the database and blocks the animation/UI rendering thread from running.
On high end devices like a desktop PC it's not an issue.
I've opened a GitHub issue for this but was just wondering if anyone else had noticed or could confirm this, you can test it with any skin that has a context menu with an opening animation, I used my own skin but have noticed it in others like Embuary.
