As the title states I am running Kodi 19.4 on Ubuntu 22.04 on a 2012 Mac Mini, I am wondering if anyone is using this setup and having issues with frame dropping, and if so did you figure out a way to fix it?

Sorry, but such questions are totally useless IMO. Why don't you provide a debug log (wiki) of your troubling Kodi setup, so we can have some details to work on?

Well if anyone else has the same hardware and finds this, the fix for me was to use x11 instead of Wayland.
