I have a smart tv with a linux operating system, but it does not allow me to install any app since they are all pre-installed, can I install kodi via usb or something?

Most TVs if not all have some form of Linux OS, but they are still different flavors.
What exact TV do you have and what OS is running on it? Android, WebOS, something else?
