#1
Hi, downloaded the new Kodi version and suddenly lost the PVR client add-on completely. Kodi v19.4 (Matrix). I am using Windows 11 on my PC. For the IPTV purposes. Can anyone help me where to find the PVR client to my Kodi 19.4.?

“Add-ons->Install from repository->Kodi repo->PVR Clients”

Do you see the add-on there? Or under “My add-ons->PVR Clients”.

Same happening to me btw, on Mac OSX.  It looks like a bunch of versions mismatching.  Repo is saying 19.1.0, and goes looking for https://mirrors.kodi.tv/addons/matrix/pv...19.1.0.zip, but that's not in https://mirrors.kodi.tv/addons/matrix/pv...sx-x86_64/ any more, the oldest there is 19.2.0.  I then went and manually installed the newest there, 19.2.2 but then it failed, because it didn't have the required inputstream dependency.  I went and got that from the mirror site, and then 19.2.2 succeeded.

Quite messy though.

Hi, is there any simple solution to this issue? I recently updated kodi to 19.4-5 and unfortunately TVHeadend client "gone away". I can not also install this addon again because of missing PVR Clients category in addon manager Sad

Most online guidance says to install inside Kodi by selecting PVR Clients from the install from repository menu. Like you (and others in this thread), I don't have a selection for PVR clients in the install from repository options in Matrix 19.4.

I run NextPVR as my backend. I installed NextPVR via command line with guidance from this link:

https://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install_Ko...erry_Pi_OS

This section in particular for PVR:

     PVR Addons

PVR Addons can be installed directly from the command line:

     sudo apt-get update
   sudo apt-get install PACKAGENAMEHERE

but replace PACKAGENAMEHERE with the PVR addon required.

     example: sudo apt-get install kodi-pvr-hts

So to install NextPVR I executed: sudo apt install kodi-pvr-nextpvr. I believe; sudo apt install kodi-pvr-hts is the code you need to install Tvheadend. The get in apt-get is no longer required.

Run Kodi and enable the PVR add-on.

Complete Tvheadend info at: https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.hts#readme

Hope that gets you up and running!

Hi, my kodi system is based on Arch Linux so install procedure is slightly different, but with your tip I managed to install addon from AUR repository. Detailed instructions here:

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/kodi-addon-pvr-hts

Thank, you!

the PVR clients menu is still missing in Nexus Windows installation. I upgraded from Matrix and it said the old HTSP PVR client is incompatible and new one is nowhere to be found.

EDIT: nevermind. it's there now. I don't know what helped, but this is the changes I did.
-clean reinstall including removal the profile folder
-different skin (it was AEON NOX before)
