Hi,
After deciding cheap Chinese media boxes were just that, I decided to purchase a Nvidia Shield Pro box. I have media on a 2TB drive which I plugged into the Shields USB drive.
Does the shield have to format the drive, as I noticed in the storage setting as a "device storage". This would be a major problem.
I attempted to set up firstly my Movie library with"Add Video" went to "Root filesystem" which in the passed opened to reveal my external Hdd. It did not see the drive.
I didn't want to network my drive as it's difficult to network in my house.
The Nvidia Shield remote is not really satisfactory with Kodi.
