When importing my Music library from a shared Linux folder on the same network, the Kodi temp directory gets filled up with all the MP3 files from that folder.
I noticed this first on my Tivo Android TV device. After installing and setting up Kodi on the device and importing my music from the shared Linux folder I found I had very little storage left on the Tivo device. Using a file explorer I discovered my whole music library of about 1.1GB was in /sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/temp".
The same thing happens on my Nvidia Shield Pro but it has more memory so I don't notice it as much. I still need to purge the Kodi temp folder of the .mp3 files.
My expectation is that just the meta data would be imported and not all the .mp3 files.
The workaround for now is to use a file explorer to browse to that temp directory and delete all the files manually.
Thanks
