wrong shows in show list

Hopefully this is a debug log.  I am not sure but its what I found.

I have shows from one show in another show's list (not mixed it like kodi isn't updating or orgainizing wrong.  Its not just a few but a lot.  Makes no sense to me.  Also, if I mark a show as being watched it continues to display as not being watched.  It will also set a show that still has unwatched shows as being watched.

I have no idea what is going on.

Thank you.....................

You still having problems?

Unfortunately the log did not show anything of use for tv shows. The tv shows are being scanned, but not added to the library. Have you correctly set up the Source in Kodi?
Pick two shows that are mixed together and delete them from the library. Scan them back into the library and capture that in a Debug Log and provide that log.
Are you still using those nfo files? IIRC they are not great nfo files to use.

Also, you have a few movies that don't scan as they are not named correctly. eg Big Fifty: The DelRhonda Hood Story/Big Fifty: The DelRhonda Hood Story.mp4', it won't be added to the library.
which is named a bit differently at TMDB... https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/878460-...hood-story

You can use a Parsing NFO file... https://kodi.wiki/view/NFO_files/Parsing
or
Use the Search function in the scraper... https://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:The_Movie_...hon#Search

Here is what I did.  First I found one where it was full of the wrong shows (they were all also in the right place as well).  I removed it and then updated the library.  It scanned in the one I just deleted but, this time it didn't have anything in it (which was right).  Then I started searching.  What I found was several that said they had nothing in them but they did (better call saul had 13 in it).  Anyway, I did the same thing to each one (removed and then updated the library  Better call saul said 0/13 but, when opened, they were all there.  I did this with a couple of shows.  If I am getting the log thing down I think I am going to back off for a bit unless you find any problems that I can fix.

When we finish a show I go out and get rid of the shows to make room for others.  It used to be that when I did that the show joined the watched (it was) and moved to the watched area.  That isn't happening anymore so I have all these empty shows in the unwatched area.  Its just odd.

Thank you for pointing out how to fix movie names not recognized.  I should have figured that one out myself but, now that I know I can take care of the few that are not recognized for this and that.  The one you found was a doozie.  I changed it several times but never figured out which, after you pointed it out was easy.

Anyway, thank your for your help!

Hmm, that log might be the wrong one?

If you look between line 954 - 1128, your tv shows are scanned, but nothing happens. It just states "not in database".
There is no sign of any tv shows being deleted then re-added.

There is something very wrong.  I took a look at the log and you are right.  All the movies seem to not be in the database.  The problem is that they are listed in the movie list and they all play.  I can also left click on any one of them and I get the information.  Perhaps I am ignorant and don't understand about the database but everything looks, and works file (except in isolated instances).  You told me how to fix those that are noted, by the program as not being recognized.

The watched, unwatched the, however, has turned into a real mess.   Every file has a block instead of those that are watched have something else. Except for three shows when the list is for watched then it shows a hundred shows that are also watched but still have boxes instead of check marks.  Everytime I try and set a show as being watched something happens to the list but I can't figure out what that is.  What I have set as being watched makes no difference as it still appears as being unwatched.

Some of the downloaded movies are not right and won't play (deleting those)

You ran the update library, but you did not have debug mode enabled, so nothing to see.
When you enable Debug Log, you need to restart Kodi, then run the Library update.

Also provide your MyVideos119.db file and I might spot something in there.

This is like your other log. It is created correctly, but there is nothing helpful in the log. Just lots of "not in the database" entries.

Which tv show have you removed and rescanned into the library?

Still need your database file.
