sorry for the newbie question - but I've been compiling xbmc perodically from the svn source - if I update my source and re-compile now, will I get the PMIII.HD skin automatically - if so, how do I enable it?

Thanks in advance!!

You enable it the same way you enable ANY other skins. Settings->Appearance.

Just a note for anyone who encounters a similar problem. I booted up this morning expecting to see updates available since I've had and been utilizing the PPA for hardy and the SVNs for a while, but nada.

For whatever reason I have to open the synaptic package manager, open the repositories then close that and click reload and they showed up.

Please don't use it anymore! See README.linux for the alternate (now preferred) method of building. Or better yet, USE THE PPA!

I am using the Wii mote if that even matters. When I go to a movie and bring up the menu and click on movie information and the I click refresh to get the correct movie information it does not use the name from the file it grabs the source name from the main movies folder. My source for my movies is named "Movies" and when I hit refresh is searches imdb for "Movies" and the the file name. For example I was trying to refresh the info for the movie "The Contract" and it did a search for "Movies". Hope I explained this good enough.

I suspect you selected "Use Folder Names For Lookup" when you set content for "Movies" or didn't set content for "Movies" at all.
