Do you need to enable RTX super resolution additionally in nvidia control panel to make use of it, if so what value is recommended?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but AFAIK Nvidia Super Resolution only works with content streamed from the Edge or Chrome browsers.
EDIT: Apparently, there is also a special build of VLC that supports it:

VSR was added to the Windows version of Kodi Omega as a DXVA extension:

And yes, the PR says you also need to enable it in the Nvidia Control Panel (and that the different levels require varying levels of power between 60 and 160 W).

We don't actively set anything here for Android. But in general Mediacodec Surface is a blackbox, every processing is done internally, with us only specifying the content, e.g. 10 bit, headers, etc. On FireTV Cube 3rd Gen, one can configure it in settings - and then "transparently" it happens for scaling ... without any influence by the application.
Do you see a difference if you enable it for e.g. 720p content? Keep in mind 4K content should not be touched at all ... so low res content is good for testing.
